Profession in Methuen – US Province June 25, 2017

Sunday gave the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary great cause for rejoicing. One of their Sisters made Profession of vows in their chapel In Methuen, MA.

Sr. Diane Dube responded to the call of the Lord and chose to become a Sister of the Presentation of Mary. She has been ministering to the People of God at Marie Joseph Spiritual Center in Biddeford Pool, ME as a spiritual director and a Presenter of Spiritual Day Programs, a ministry that she will continue as a professed sister.

More than 100 sisters attended this ceremony and the Most Revd. Robert Hennessey, regional bishop of the Merrimack Valley presided at the ceremony.  A festive meal continued the celebration.

Acceptance to the Novitiate PHILIPPINE PROVINCE

The Philippine Province was graced to have the acceptance of the postulants to the Novitiate last April 25, 2017 on the feast of Saint Mark, the Evangelist.  Sister Juvy Jean Olmido and Sister Sharmaine Grace Señerez confirmed their choice to become Sisters of the Presentation of Mary at the school of Jesus Christ and the House of Mary by their consent to learn how walk in the presence of God and to be nourished by the bread of His Divine Will.

Christ is risen! He is alive!

My very dear Sisters,

In the footsteps of the Risen Jesus, during this year of our General Chapter, let us move forward in hope.  Let us give thanks for all that the Lord has created as newness in our Congregation as well as all that He never ceases to accomplish in our lives.

Let us be like the women at the tomb who recognize the Risen One.  Let us allow Him to enter our lives so that we might live as “daughters of the Resurrection”! Let us bring the joy of Easter to our communities and carry it with us on all the pathways where the Spirit leads us.

I wish, each one of you my dear sisters, the joy of Easter

With all my affection,

Mother Angèle Dion
